Chicago on Friday

I am so happy that it is Thursday..almost the weekend! But most importantly, it means that tomorrow is Friday-the day i am going to Chicago. I am a member of Cardinal Communications, the student-run PR firm here on campus, and a small group of us are leaving for Chicago at six fifteen tomorrow morning. We are going to be visiting PR firms and we are having dinner with Ball State Alumni. It should be interesting to walk the streets of Chicago in a suit and heels all day, visiting places and companies I could be working for sometime in the future.

Hectic Week

This week is going by slow and it is truly driving me nuts. I am already having a mini breakdown because of all my homework and responsibilities, and I want this week to end! Next week is also my birthday, so it makes this week go by even slower. I am excited to go home next weekend to get my presents, cake, and celebrate my birthday with my friends. It's only Tuesday? Oh lord.

March Madness Is Truly Mad

This time of March Madness seems truly mad to me. I cannot wrap my mind around why so many guys and girls get so into teams that they aren't really associated with any other time of the year. The idea of brackets are fine and dandy, but I cannot understand why so many people hold them in such high regard and importance. Imagine what the world could be if as many people channeled the March Madness energy into making the world a better place. Messed up priorities, anyone?

Warm Weather

I am getting extremely excited that the weather is finally starting to improve here in Indiana! It has been in the mid and upper sixties, allowing shorts to be worn and coats to be eliminated. I love spring and summer weather and I am ecstatic as the prospect of warm weather being permanent very soon! Unfortunately, the weathermen predict that the cold isn't done yet, and the temperature is expected to drop in the next week. Touche, Indiana.

Seven Weeks Left

There are seven weeks of school left and everything is so overwhelming. I need to start working on revising the essays for English because I have been neglecting them for weeks now. Between my internships and homework, I am not going to have a lot of time for other things! Good luck to everyone revising their essays :) We start a new one tomorrow, yikes!

Back Home

Panama City Beach was awesome; however, I am back home in northern Indiana. It is currently under 50 degrees and raining with no intention of stopping. I already miss the beach, the sand, the flip flops, and my bathing suit. Luckily, the semester will be done soon and I will be enjoying warm weather in a few months!

PCB

I am in Panama City Beach, and it took twenty minutes to find a place with free wi fi to update this blog. I love PCB, it has a fun, careless energy that I find very appealing. It is a great vacation away from the stress of everything! I will be back in Indiana on Thursday, so I am enjoying every minute of my short time here! It's 72 degrees here and I am about to enjoy the beach.
